The Liew et al. article entitled “Validating a custom multiplex ELISA against individual commercial immunoassays using clinical samples” (BioTechniques 42:327-333; March 2007) inadvertantly omitted an important reference. The reference is entitled “Array-based ELISAs for high-throughput analysis of human cytokines” (BioTechniques 31:186-194; July 2001). It is one of the earliest studies describing an array based in a 96-well plate to measure multiple antigens in a single well.
The authors regret this oversight. The PDF version of the article, available at www.BioTechniques.com, has been corrected.
