NanoTemper's Monolith NTLabelFree instrument is designed for interaction studies in free solution without the need for a fluorescent label.
The system complements the company's existing instrument from the monolith
series: Monolith NT.115, which allows measurement of binding events between
biomoelcules by adding a fluorescent label to one of the molecules involved.
The label-free system extends the application to systems that are difficult
to label fluorescently. The system combines the advantages of measuring as
close as possible to native conditions with the well known advantages of MST
as low sample consumption, fast measurement speed, and straight forward
handling. The application range includes interaction of membrane receptors,
soluble proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, sugars, small molecules as well
as macromolecular complexes.
