MatriTube slaser-etched two-dimensional) barcoded storage tubes
Matrical Bioscience introduces laser-etched two-dimensional (2-D) barcoded storage tubes in a 96-and 384-well format. The MatriTubes have a well volume of 35 L and are supplied with permanent 2-D barcodes on the base of each tube to track individual samples securely within the laboratory. MatriTubes are manufactured with high grade, clarified polypropylene and are factory approved for readability. MatriTubes also offer the ability to maintain sample integrity with thermo plastic elastomer caps, and foil sealing options. Septum caps are available in several colors and are provided in solid or split top varieties. MatriTubes are compatible with any 2-D barcode reader, but give best results when used with the Scan X 2D, according to the company.
