SafeCloner system
Cleaver Scientifics’ SafeCloner enables UV-free visualization of ETBr, SYBR Green, and SBYR safe gels. DNA bands can be seen with high efficiency LED illumination and filter glasses. The system’s LED illuminator removes the harmful danger of stray UV, which can cause damage to the eyes. It also protects a technician’s hands from harmful UV radiation. The illuminator does not damage DNA even after long times of exposure. The system’s blue epi-LED illumination and special filter glass result in greater sensitivity and contrast than longer wavelength 365nm transilluminators.
