SampleGuard temperature control, available as an option on Genevac HT-Series
evaporator systems, protects samples from any possibility of overheating
when evaporation is complete. The patented technique eliminates the
possibility of thermal degradation, safeguarding valuable samples and
removing the need for further time-consuming method development.
SampleGuard’s sample protection system ensures smooth evaporation and fast
drying times without overheating your samples, according to the company. The
system comprises two thermocouples and a unique sample temperature radio
transmitter. SampleGuard probes can measure temperature at any point in the
sample holder. Either one or two probes can be used to accurately and
reliably determine end-of-run, enabling the system to be easily set for
optimal performance and automatic shutdown, making it ideal for the
multi-user environment
