Akonni Biosystems' TruTip product line is designed for extracting DNA and RNA from samples of volumes 100 – 1000 µl (including blood, plasma, sputum, urine, even soil and water).
Akonni Biosystems' TruTip product line is designed for extracting DNA and RNA
from samples of volumes 100 – 1000 µl (including blood, plasma, sputum,
urine, even soil and water). the TruTips use a nucleic acid binding matrix
and are easily inserted into most standard pipette tips. Passing sample back
and forth across the binding matrix delivers inhibitor-free, PCR-ready
nucleic acid.
The platform works well with both DNA and RNA isolated from viruses, bacteria,
or animals and is 10 times faster than current methods. It doesn’t require
centrifugation, spin column, or magnetic bead separation. The product line
currently includes kits for genomic DNA, microbial DNA, and RNA extraction.
