Organized by Gerhard Wagner of Harvard Medical School, Angela M. Gronenborn of the University of Pittsburgh and Marc Baldus of Utrecht University, the four-day conference will:
- Convene with a keynote address by Michael F. Summers of the University of Maryland Baltimore County and HHMI on the morning of Monday, January 14, followed by four days of informative plenary and poster sessions;
- Focus exclusively on biological applications of NMR, with special attention to underrepresented areas including membrane proteins, nucleic acids and protein/nucleic acid complexes, and post-translational modifications in cells and fluxes of metabolites;
- Platform more junior scientists by featuring “lightening” talks enabling numerous speakers selected from poster abstracts to highlight their posters;
- Allow for ample free time to encourage new collaboration-building.
