Keystone Symposia: Molecular Clockworks and the Regulation of Cardio-Metabolic Function
Date: April 03, 2013
Location: Snowbird, Utah, USA

Organized by Garret A. FitzGerald of the University of Pennsylvania and Joseph S. Takahashi of HHMI/University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, the conference will:

  • Convene with a keynote address by Eric Schadt of Pacific Biosciences/Mount Sinai School of Medicine, followed by three days of stimulating plenary and poster sessions;
  • Assemble investigators who work in multiple model systems, including humans, to share information on the multiple ways in which the molecular clock is regulated, how its systems are integrated and how that knowledge might be harvested to enhance our understanding of human physiology and to yield novel treatments for human disease;
  • Allow time for informal collaboration-building and networking in a scenic mountain setting.
