Laborota 20 rotary evaporators
Available from Heidolph UK, the Laborota 20 series of rotary evaporators offer
unattended operation for large volume applications in any research lab.
Heidolph’s range of large-scale rotary evaporators are available as standard
with a 6-, 10-, or 20-L evaporation flask. According to the company, the
units are ideal for standard distillations, reflux distillations, drying
powders, and recycling chemical and solvents in process development,
scale-up, kilo labs, pilot plants, and production facilities. The Laborota
20 Control Automatic system is designed for continuous use, increasing the
capacity of your evaporation beyond the normal 20-L evaporation flask.
Heidolph reports that the system automatically refills solvent and drains
condensate, providing researchers with the capacity to perform continuous,
unattended evaporations. The Laborota 20 series uses separate digital
displays to show the rotation speed, bath temperature, vacuum pressure, and
coolant and vapor temperature. Including an integrated vacuum and
temperature controller, each Laborota 20 features individually programmable
ramps for all parameters, allowing for optimal distillation settings. A
built-in process timer allows for unattended distillations, resulting in
greater throughput. All Laborota 20 evaporators are complete with vacuum
sensor, vacuum valve, and an RS-232C interface to allow scientists to
program or monitor their distillation process.
