Joseph studied Biology at the University of Leeds (UK), focusing on human genetics and conducting research into the repurposing of drugs in the search for novel treatments for various cancers. Joining Future Science group in 2016, he began as Commissioning Editor for Future Science Group’s two highest impact journals, Epigenomics and Nanomedicine.
Since working as Managing Editor for BioTechniques, Joseph’s eyes have been opened to the amount of work that goes into slightly tweaking methods and techniques to produce more accurate, faster and cheaper results. He loves the community that has been built around BioTechniques over the years, since its foundation in 1983. While maintaining his curiosity for genomics, his interests have broadened to cover all lab-based techniques, alongside keeping a special focus on reproducibility.
