Douglas Hanahan (left), the former Director of the Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research (ISREC) at EPFL, works in the Agora Translational Cancer Research Center as a member of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (both Lausanne, Switzerland). The Agora is an interdisciplinary multi-institutional center focused on cancer from bench-to-bedside and back, featuring basic, translational and clinical cancer researchers, bioengineers, computational scientists and bioinformaticians.
