Associate Editors needed: Journal of Receptors and Signal Transduction


About the role

Journal of Receptors and Signal Transduction is currently recruiting for Associate Editors, specifically in the areas of cancer, cell signaling and structure/virtual screening/docking areas.

This is a great opportunity for academics with the commitment, drive and ability to help develop the journal. A strong research background is required.

As part of the role, you will be responsible for supporting the Editors and Publisher with your expertise on an ad hoc basis, acting as a Peer Reviewer for manuscripts on occasion, being an advocate for the journal in your networks and at events and conferences, and attending an annual Editorial Board Meeting to discuss plans for the journal’s development. You will also be encouraged to submit your own work to the journal and to be involved in journal special issues and article collections.

This widely respected journal presents the latest laboratory and clinical studies on biological receptors and associated signal transduction pathways for ligands involved in the regulation of central and peripheral tissues and cells, including the immune system, thus covering the field from neurotransmitters to peptides, steroids, growth factors, cytokines and drugs.
