Date: Wednesday 19th January
Time: 9:00 am – 10:45 am PST
Location: online

Nanopore technology enables the analysis of short to ultra-long regions of DNA/RNA in real time, enabling the assembly of highly contiguous genomes and characterisation of structural variants, alongside intact base modification detection.

On Wednesday 19th January between 9:00 and 10:45 am (PST), scientists from across the field of plant and animal genomics will share their research using nanopore sequencing during an online event. Topics include: plant epigenetics, viral transmission in bovine leukemia, and resolving SNPs. These talks will be followed by a technology update from the Oxford Nanopore team. After the live presentations, you’ll have the chance to quiz each of the speakers during the Q&A session.
