To those who have never experienced it, workplace gender bias may seem dead. However, new research suggests it is the people who deny its existence that are keeping it alive. In a study conducted by researchers at the University of Exeter (UK), Skidmore College (NY, USA) and the British Veterinary Association (London, UK), researchers found that when rating descriptions of prospective employees, most managers would rate a male as more competent and recommend a higher salary.
