Application Note: Ultrapure water in cell cultivation
In this Application Note, you will find out whether ultrapure water produced by Arium® Pro UF can be used for cell culture applications without any problems. The Arium® Pro UF system is designed to produce ultrapure water from pre-treated water sources by removing trace levels of residual contaminants. PER.C6 EpCAM cells were cultivated in ready-made CDM4PERMab (Hyclone) media employed as controls, as well as in CDM4PERMab (Hyclone) powder media prepared using ultrapure water obtained with Arium® Pro UF (UF water) and reverse osmosis (RO) water.
