Science, strategy and soft skills: highlights from the 2026 ABRF Annual Meeting

The 2026 Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) Annual Meeting (Pittsburgh, PA, USA; 28–31 March) once again brought together scientific core directors, institutional core leadership and industry partners to facilitate excellent science, thought-provoking conversation and the courage required for growth. Like the iconic bridges over the Allegheny River just outside the David L. Lawrence Convention Center doors, the themes of this conference connected us all. Whether we were genomicists, microscopists or core administrators, we found ourselves echoing the same refrains throughout the week.
