The 28th of February 2023 was an ordinary day in the household of Elinne Becket (right), Principal Investigator of the Becket lab at California State University, San Marcos (CSUSM; CA, USA), until some spring cleaning unearthed from the depths of the fridge an old soup that had turned a brilliant shade of blue.
