Using traditional animal models, drug development can take 10–15 years and cost over US$2 billion per approved drug, with over 90% of drugs that succeed in animal tests failing in human trials. Clearly, we need a better approach.  

In this introductory video, learn about how new approach methodologies, or NAMs, are making therapeutics development more ethical and efficient while offering greater human relevance.
