An introduction to cell-line development
Introducing cell-line development (CLD), this video covers the five key steps involved in CLD and where challenges arise. In order to manufacture a biopharmaceutical product, such as monoclonal antibodies and viral vectors, researchers need to determine the cell line best suited for producing it. Once selected, they need to ensure that it withstands scale-up, maintaining the quality of the biologic produced at a manufacturing scale.
