Maria Ramos is a postdoc in the Bodenmiller Lab at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) using organoids to study cellular communication between cancer cells and the tumor microenvironment. At this year’s ELRIG Drug Discovery conference, Maria discussed her research on developing complex ecosystems with patient-derived organoids and Trellis, an algorithm developed to analyze large datasets obtained from single-cell mass cytometry.
