Nanotechnology could spell new treatment for endometriosis

Endometriosis is a common gynaecological condition, affecting 10% of women of childbearing age, where endometrial tissue grows in other areas in a lesion including on the ovaries, in the fallopian tubes and in the tissue lining of the pelvis. The condition can cause pain and lead to fertility issues.
