In this episode of the STEM Tea podcast, host AJ Hinton (left) is joined by Alberto “Beto” Vasquez (right), Director of STEM Engagement & Community Relations for the Center for Research in Education
& Teaching Excellence (CREATE) at University of California, San Diego (CA, USA). Beto is a biologist, educator, and community leader applying his colorful lived experience to support students from similar backgrounds and communities.
At CREATE, he spearheads efforts to increase access, engagement and interest in STEM fields to communities throughout Southern California.
