Resolving tissue heterogeneity with spatial gene expression on FFPE samples

Watch now

Shedding light on the underpinnings of complex diseases not only requires knowledge of gene expression changes, but the context of where it is occurring. By unifying transcriptomics with morphological context, researchers can gain greater insights into the tumor microenvironment, the impact of inclusions in neurodegenerative diseases and spatial dynamics of developmental disorders. However, technologies to date have been limited by throughput, tissue-size constraints and/or lack of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) sample compatibility.

What will you learn?

Join us to learn about how spatial gene expression for FFPE samples can unlock new dimensions of your research and provide you with:

  • Gene expression compatibility with Visium CytAssist to enable the analysis of pre-sectioned FFPE tissues
  • Spatial gene expression profiling on more FFPE tissues with multiple capture area sizes
  • Additional insights into your transcriptomics work with same-section protein expression data

Who may this interest?

  • Basic research or early discovery scientists
  • Translational pharma researchers and production scientists
  • Researchers with diagnostics and pre-clinical interests
