Signal amplification of a human cardiac troponin I sandwich ELISA
In this poster, discover antibody selection strategies, click-chemistry conjugation techniques and performance validation protocols. Learn how to implement BOLD (Binding Oligo Ladder Detection) amplification in your troponin assays and beyond.
Cardiac troponin I (cTnI) is the gold-standard biomarker for early myocardial infarction diagnosis. Yet detecting subtle elevations in healthy individuals (15–20 pg/mL baseline) remains challenging with standard ELISA assays, delaying critical intervention.
Overcome this limitation by seamlessly integrating molecular biology-based signal amplification into standard workflows. In this research poster, Cavidi scientists demonstrate the development and optimization of a high-sensitivity cTnI ELISA, achieving a 180-fold improvement in limit of detection (0.07 pg/mL vs. 12.5 pg/mL in serum at room temperature).
